25 years of bubbly in the ’Burg by Luxemburger Wort

When the first crémant was produced in Luxembourg in January 1991, no one expected a massive success of the new product.

By November of that year, 150,000 bottles of the Vinsmoselle bubbly went on the market. And just a month later, all of those bottles were sold out.

Production since then has continued to grow: today the winery cooperative produces 1.6 million bottles of crémant per year. This corresponds to 10,000 bottles per day...
